The Rose Festival is often considered the premier Portland event. In 2007, it will celebrate its centennial anniversary - 100 years of tradition. Entertainment includes a carnival, the grand floral parade, music, and much more. The Rose Festival was recommended by Family Fun Magazine, as an event the entire family can enjoy. The Grand Floral Parade is the centerpiece of the festival and the second largest all-floral parade in the United States. More than 500,000 spectators line the route, making it the largest spectator event in Oregon.
